The Public Bored

Content Guidelines

What's allowed, what's not, and how we review — so you can create with confidence.

Free Public Queue

The free public queue is a no-cost daily slot on The Nashville Sign for personal expression — a public moment for the people who live around the screen. It is not a place to sell, promote, or advertise, and it is not a guaranteed service.

What it's for

What it's not for

If your message has a commercial, promotional, or campaign angle, the free queue isn't the right path. We built a separate paid experience for that — see For Business & Music or our custom experiences on the Participate page.

Review & Discretion

Every free-queue submission is reviewed by a human and runs entirely at our sole discretion. We reserve the absolute right to reject, remove, edit, delay, reorder, or refuse to air any submission, at any time, for any reason or no reason at all, without notice, explanation, refund, or recourse. No exceptions.

The free queue is offered as a courtesy, not a contract. Submitting a message does not guarantee that it will be aired, scheduled, or displayed — ever. We may also pause, change, or end the free queue at any time without notice. By submitting, you accept these terms.
